GENERAL INFORMATION :- Foothills of the Himalayas / Area : 87.5 sq. kms./
Altitude : between 3352 mts. to 3962 mts. Best time:- Mid July- Sept.
DAY 1. Haridwar - Govindghat ( 295 kms / 9-10 hrs ) : Drive up into mountain terrain, past small Garhwal villages to Govindghat. Overnight camp.
DAY 2. Govindghat - Ghangaria ( 14 kms. ) : This is an uphill trek (or pony Ride) as we come to Ghangaria through lush green hilly terrains. After lunch we have time to explore the ambience of this valley and its surroundings. Over night at camp.
DAY 3 / 4. Valley of Flowers: Both these days are free to explore the Valley of flowers ( 5 kms. trek) and also trek ( 6 kms.) up to the Hemkund Sahib, the highest Sikh temple & the holy mountain lake at 15000ft .
Overnight in camp/hotel at Ghangaria .
DAY 5. Ghangaria / Govindghat: After breakfast, trek to Govindghat. Over night at camp.
DAY 6. Govindghat - Haridwar: After breakfast drive back to Haridwar.

ESSENTIALS : Basic personal items to be carried include, feather jacket, heavy woollens, walking boots, rain proof jacket, torch, spare batteries, water flask, cream, match box & medicines, a firm rucksack with broad strap, camera & film should be included keeping overall weight in mind.
